Elder Ricky and 1st Lady Roshelle Brown met in the great city of Jacksonville, AR. Shortly after we met, during the summer of 1986, we began dating. Our relationship grew stronger over the next 5 years. We decided to do the right thing by getting married and making a commitment to one another. We were married June 14th 1991. To this wedded bliss three children were born; Raquelle 9/1992, Ricky II 1/1995 & Ramya 3/2002.
In September 1991 we were invited to 1st Deliverance Temple church in Lonoke, AR by Elder Anthony & Sis. Lisa Terry. The Pastor is Suffragan Bishop E.L. & 1st Lady India Williams. We went to church there on a Wednesday night and we were both baptized in the precious name of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins that very night. Our lives would never be the same from that day forward. Our hearts and Souls began to serve the Lord. We remained faithful members their for 13 years, of which, Elder Brown was elevated to the Assistant Pastor in the year of 1998. The Lord called Elder Brown into the Pastorship early on, but it was not until the year 2004 that the Lord released him to start a ministry in Jacksonville.
We left 1st Deliverance Temple in June 2004.
When we left Lonoke it was completely on blind faith. We had absolutely nothing to begin a church, but God opened every door and provided everything we needed. Our doors officially opened as Living Water Apostolic Ministries, Sunday, September 05, 2004. Upon leaving Lonoke, Pastor Williams gave us some awesome advice by saying, "No matter what you do, do not get into debt to start your Ministry."
The Lord provided for us everything we needed and then some. When our doors 1st opened, we owed no one. Everything was paid for.
While in this Ministry, so many people have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and many have received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The awesome move of God has change a Drug Dealer & Ex-Gang Banger into a Deacon, an Alcoholic into a Preacher, a Women of the streets into a Women of God, and Lost Souls into Saved Souls, just to name a few of the many blessings of the Lord. Pastor Brown was Elevated to District Elder in 2016. God is doing a great work through this Ministry.
